Senior/Middle DRF Developer for Fintech project

Dataforest is Seeking a Senior DRF Developer to join an interesting Fintech project. We are building a payment system that helps SME and Private individuals to improve access to financial services like easy account opening, money transfers, and so on. As a Senior DRF Developer, you will collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define proper development processes and meet product expectations. You will also be involved in solution architecture and API development and guide the payment gateway integration process.


Skills Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Python;
• 3+ years of experience with Django/DRF and RESTful APIs;
• Experience with payment systems integration (as a plus);
• Familiarity with PHP/Laravel (as a plus);
• Experience with Celery, Kafka (Optional);
• Knowledge of cloud solutions: AWS;
• Experience in multithreading/multiprocessing approaches;
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines;
• Previous experience in a Team Lead role (Optional);


Key responsibilities:

• Work on developing and maintaining web applications using Python.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Design, Develop and maintain payment gateway integrations;
• Collaborate with the team to define and implement new features and functionality.
• Write clean and well-structured code that is easy to read and maintain;
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Optimize and maintain the security, performance, and usability of the applications.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate frontend components with the backend API.
