Role overview: 

As we continue to scale, we're looking for a Financial Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be the first in-house Financial Manager, playing a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and supporting our growth.

What You'll Do: 

- Strategic Finance: Guide our financial strategy, ensuring we're making smart investments and keeping the company financially healthy. You'll be key in deciding where we invest next.

- Data-Driven Decisions: Turn numbers into narratives. Provide financial reports that help us understand where we are and where we're going, influencing key decisions across the company.

- Budget Guru: Take charge of our budget, making sure every dollar counts towards our growth and stability. You'll forecast, adjust, and communicate our financial status with precision.

- Operational Leadership: Lead our finance operations, setting goals and creating systems that ensure we meet them. Your work will make our finances a cornerstone of our success.

- Cost Optimization: Always on the lookout for smarter ways to operate, you'll find and implement cost-reduction strategies that don't compromise our momentum or mission.

- Financial Health Monitoring: You'll keep a close eye on our financial performance, developing forecasts and trends that help us stay ahead of the game.

- Regulatory and Compliance Oversight: Work with auditors to ensure our finances are not just in order, but exemplary, upholding our commitment to transparency and integrity.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the financial liaison across departments, making sure financial strategies support and are integrated with our overall business objectives.


What We're Looking For: 

- You've got 5+ years in finance, with at least 3 in Financial Planning & Analysis, showing us you can handle the heat.

- Experience in a Big4 company is a must-have 

- Thorough understanding of US Generally Accepted Principles of Accounting (US GAAP) and proficiency in applying accounting principles and standards

- Experience working in an American-based company and/or startup is a huge plus.

- Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides are your playgrounds; you're also savvy with tools like Adaptive Insights or Anaplan.

- Your analytical skills are top-notch; problem-solving is your middle name.

- You communicate complex financial info in a way that makes sense to the rest of us.

- Leadership is in your DNA; you know how to set goals, meet them, and inspire your team to do the same.

- You're a collaborator at heart, knowing that the best outcomes come from working together.

- Integrity and a high work ethic aren't just buzzwords to you; they're how you operate.

- Fluency in English is a must.
