Senior Data Scientist

Dataforest is Looking for a Senior Data Scientist with Team Lead experience to join an interesting software development project in the field of Cybersecurity. Our US client's platform offers Identity Insights drives real-time, multi-contextual digital forensics to protect new account opening workflows and expose fake accounts already in a customer database.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate with product managers, CTO and other stakeholders. Define hypotheses and concepts on working with data towards providing proper solution solving business cases. You will guide the 2 data scientists and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality fraud/anomaly detection products.


Skills requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science\Data engineering field;
• 3+ years of experience with Python;
• Knowledge of data algorithms and data structures is a MUST;
• Knowledge of statistics, DS and Machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with business analysis and project management;
• Strong experience with Pandas, Apache Spark (pyspark), Apache Kafka;
• Experience with Databricks and AWS (as a plus)
• Understanding of cluster computing fundamentals;
• Previous experience in a Team Lead role (optional);


Key responsibilities:

• Create fraud and anomaly detection models ;
• Perform text processing, classification, and clusterization.
• Apply different data processing algorithms;
• Analyzing behavior patterns and identifying key trends;
• Building machine learning pipelines for automated data processing;
• Perform Research and development towards finding new features.
• Perform data analysis and develop functional logic;
