Data Bricks Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid, based in Kraków, Poland

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Bricks Software Engineer to join our team in the Banking and Finance sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and extensive experience in IT, particularly in the areas of data virtualization, data streaming, and cloud-based technologies.

Job Requirements:
- 8-10 years of professional IT experience
- Proficiency with ADLS, Databricks, Kafka, Denodo, data modelling, data replication, clustering, SQL Query patterns, and indexing for large datasets
- Demonstrated experience with Python and data access libraries (Numpy, Scipy, pandas), machine learning (Tensorflow), and AI libraries (Chat GTP)
- Experience with Spark and Data Bricks
- 4-5 years of experience developing large-scale applications using data virtualization and/or data streaming technologies
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Strong communication skills for collaboration in multi-site environments
- Ability to produce secure and efficient code
- Fluent English proficiency

Responsibilities:
- Develop large-scale applications using data virtualization and/or data streaming technologies
- Implement cloud-based data virtualization and delivery solutions
- Adhere to SDLC standards for code control, inspection, and deployment
- Design and deliver solutions in enterprise environments
- Collaborate with solution architects and business analysts to define implementation design and coding
- Ensure high-quality, bug-free code production

Location Requirements:
This is a hybrid position based in Kraków, Poland, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days per week.

About the Project:
The Data Bricks Software Engineer will be responsible for completing end client documents and undergoing a background check. This position is a hybrid role based in Kraków, with a start date to be decided in May.
