DevOps Engineer

Takadao is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team to streamline software development and deployment by bridging the gap between our development and operations. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of automation tools, AWS cloud services, and system operations. This role is pivotal in optimizing our workflows, ensuring our infrastructure's reliability, and implementing continuous integration and delivery processes to improve our product's scalability and performance. This is a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop automation scripts to enhance and streamline operational processes. Proactively troubleshoot issues during testing and deployment phases to prevent problems at product launch.
2. Build, maintain, and critically evaluate automation tools for deployment, testing, and monitoring to ensure they meet the business requirements.
3. Set up and continuously improve the CI/CD pipeline, guaranteeing that software releases are reliable and of high quality.
4. Provide essential technical support and training to team members and stakeholders, enhancing their capabilities and understanding of our systems.
5. Collaborate with developers and security analysts to design and implement robust monitoring systems that detect and resolve issues preemptively.
6. Manage and perform administrative tasks across various AWS Cloud services, ensuring optimal configuration and security.
7. Identify and resolve bottlenecks, improving and maintaining the reliability and availability of services to support scalability.
8. Commit to continuous technical growth through experimentation, ongoing learning, and rapid iteration of projects.

Job Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field.
-2+ years experience in DevOps.
-Proficiency in Git version control.
-Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automating infrastructure using modern programming languages and tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
-Bash scripting.
-Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
-Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
-Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
-Experience with automation tools for CI and CD, such as Jenkins.
-Experience with monitoring tools.
-Understanding of operations within an Agile development framework.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
