Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in a similar position or strong readiness to
obtain it
- proficiency with FortiGate network firewalls and FortiAnalyzer log
analysis systems
- understanding and experience with VPN technologies including
Site-to-Site VPN, 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication), IPSec
- experience with DMZ zones, access policy creation, and Single
Sign-On (SSO) on FortiGate
- experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting L2
technologies (STP, VTP, Trunk, VLAN, Ether Channel, LACP, Port
Security, DHCP Snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, IP Source
Guard, Guard Filter, Guard Root)
- understanding and experience with L3 technologies including IP,
IPv4, HSRP, GLBP, static and dynamic BGP routing
previous experience with DHCP, DNS, NAT, PAT, ACL, FTP,
SNMP, NTP, SSH, Telnet
- preferred certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate
(CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), NSE
(FortiGate Infrastructure, FortiGate Security), and relevant
equivalents
- willingness to enhance skills and learn new technologies in
network security and infrastructure

Responsibilities:

- configure and maintain IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), Web
Filter, and Application Control on FortiGate
- configure Cisco networking equipment, IPSec tunnels, Static
NAT, and troubleshoot firewall-related service issues
- configure 802.1X authentication settings
- analyze network issues and effectively resolve them
