Project description:

You will be part of the PlayMatrix business unit. PlayMatrix creates state-of-the-art live casino games from scratch. Roulette and Blackjack (and many-may more other games) with real dealers streamed to players all across the world with lowest latency and highest quality.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior System Administrator who is proficient in Linux, k8s and CI/CD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of system administration, container orchestration, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design, deploy, and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure.
Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters to support our growing applications and services.
-Implement and maintain Flux for GitOps-based infrastructure management and deployment.
-Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
-Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure uptime and reliability.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and drive projects to completion.
-Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in system administration, Kubernetes, Flux, and CI/CD.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
-Minimum of 8 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Linux environments.
-Proficiency in Kubernetes administration, including cluster deployment, configuration, and management.
-Experience with Flux or other GitOps tools for infrastructure as code (IaC) management.
-Experience in building sophisticated monitoring systems based Prometheus/Grafana/Loki/Tempo
-Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with -CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI.
-Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Ruby) for automation and configuration management.
-Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security principles.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work Life Balance:

-22 paid leave days and two extra paid leave days per year for every year up to 32 days (working days) in addition to the public holidays (11 days).
Extra leave days for every extra year at the company – 43 days including public holidays by year 5 of employment.
