System Administrator

👋 We’re rapidly growing and inviting a System Administrator to our team.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration or IT support roles.

• Proficiency in Google G Suite administration and troubleshooting.

• Experience with JAMF Pro for macOS and iOS device management.

• Strong understanding of Active Directory concepts and administration.

• Familiarity with Atlassian products, particularly Jira and Confluence.

• Knowledge of license management best practices and tools.

• Ability to manage hardware procurement processes from sourcing to deployment.

• Basic understanding of AWS cloud services and infrastructure.

• Experience in configuring and managing Slack for team communication.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer Google G Suite, including Gmail, Google Drive, and other associated applications.

• Oversee JAMF administration for macOS and iOS device management, ensuring devices are properly configured and compliant with company policies.

• Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory services, including user management, group policies, and authentication protocols.

• Support and administer Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence, including user management, configurations, and integration with other tools.

• Perform license management tasks, including procurement, allocation, and compliance tracking for software and SaaS applications.

• Coordinate hardware procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and deployment of IT equipment and peripherals.

• Demonstrate basic knowledge of AWS services and assist in managing cloud resources as needed.

• Configure and manage Slack channels, permissions, integrations, and other settings to optimize team communication and collaboration.

• Provide support and training to users on utilizing Jira and Confluence effectively for project management and documentation purposes.

• Install and reinstall Windows and macOS operating systems on desktop and laptop computers as needed, ensuring proper configuration and functionality.

• Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment of systems and processes.
