Senior Product designer

An AI startup based in the Silicon Valley with serial-entrepreneur founders is seeking a full-time designer

We are building the “GitHub” of the innovation industry powered by AI where startups,
large corporations and VCs will be able to understand, manage and share key data and
insights.
 
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience
Main focus on web based products (mobile apps is a + but not as critical).
- Speaks conversational-fluent English. Minimum level – C1.
- Experience with B2B products is important and preferred.
- Located in Europe, North or South America. Being located in or around Spain is a plus!

Responsibilities
User Experience (UX) Design:
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to conceptualize design solutions.
Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the platform that is being built (web
and mobile).

Visual Design:
Develop visually appealing and consistent design elements, including icons,
illustrations, and graphics.
Ensure brand consistency across all design assets and marketing materials.

Interaction Design:
Design interactive elements and animations to enhance user engagement and
interaction.
Collaborate with developers to implement and test interactive features.
Product Ideation and Conceptualization:
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and concepts for
new products and features.
Translate ideas into actionable design concepts with a focus on usability and
feasibility.

Prototyping and Testing:
Create clickable prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders and
users.
Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on design improvements.

Collaborative Cross-Functional Work:
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, and other stakeholders to align design objectives with business goals.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to the product development
process.

Design Documentation:
Prepare and maintain design specifications, style guides, and design system
documentation.
Ensure design assets are well-organized and easily accessible to the development
team.

User-Centric Approach:
Advocate for the end-users and champion user-centric design practices.
Continuously seek feedback and iterate designs based on user insights and data.
Communication and Presentation:
Effectively communicate design ideas, concepts, and rationale to stakeholders in a
clear and compelling manner.
Present design solutions and recommendations during team meetings and project
reviews.

Design Quality Assurance:
Conduct design quality checks to ensure deliverables meet high standards and
align with project requirements.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design
technologies.
