DBA / Database Engineer (offline)

We are looking for experienced DBA Engineer to join our team working on a high-load information resources project. This globally recognized platform handles millions of requests per second. You will work in a team of professionals to maintain and extend system functionality.

Required skills:

- Previous experience as an SRE on high-load information resource projects;
- Proficiency in managing multi-node MariaDB clusters with active-active and master-slave replications;
- Experience in MariaDB/MySQL/Percona replication is highly desirable;
- Familiarity with FreeBSD and Linux operating systems;
- Ability to adopt Docker and implement containerization strategies;
- Strong understanding of system architecture and infrastructure optimization;
- Knowledge of monitoring and visualization tools such as Prometheus and Grafana;
- Experience with CI/CD setup and management;
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation task.

Responsibilities:

- Conducting configuration of servers and fine-tuning parameters (Nginx/Caddy/MariaDB/MySQL/PHP-FPM/Redis-server/OpenSSL/Prometheus and Grafana);
- Selecting the optimal structure of products and solutions;
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes;
- Completing comprehensive infrastructure security checks;
- Handling incidents promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations;
- Providing DevOps duties as required;
- Managing backups meticulously to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity;
- Collaborating with customers regarding product features;
- Interacting closely with the content department, project manager, and customers to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes (SRE);
- Writing and controlling technical specifications for project stages (SRE);
- Providing ongoing support for server infrastructure;
- Configuring network devices to facilitate seamless communication and connectivity within the infrastructure.
