Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications, working closely with development and security teams to build a cohesive and secure infrastructure. Responsibilities
Application Lifecycle Management & DevOps: Drive DevOps practices by collaborating with development teams to manage the application lifecycle within a GCP environment. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability, availability, and security.
Security: Implement security measures at every phase of development, conduct security audits, and perform remediation to ensure a secure infrastructure.
Monitoring and Debugging: Debug monitoring systems, identify security vulnerabilities, and collaborate with security and development teams for cohesive infrastructure management.
Documentation: Write comprehensive user and technical documentation.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years as a DevOps or SRE Engineer, with significant experience in cloud environments, especially GCP.
Cloud and Containers: In-depth expertise with GCP services, Kubernetes, and Docker.
High Load Experience: Proficient in working with High Availability (HA) and High Load systems.
Proficiency in Programming Languages: at least 1 from the list: Go, Python, Bash.
CI/CD: Experience with GitLab CI, FluxCD, and Helm charts.
Database administration experience: at least 2 from the list: MySQL, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Postgres).
Security Tools: Hands-on experience with SAST and DAST tools, familiarity with IDS/IPS systems, WAF, file integrity monitoring, and other security tools and methodologies.
IaC Experience: Proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt
Nice to have
Linux and Networking: Solid foundation in Linux-like systems & network concepts.
Container Security: Experience or demonstrated interest in securing container environments.
Automation Passion: Eagerness to streamline processes through automation.
Monitoring: Familiarity with New Relic, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Grafana a plus.
Understanding SDLC: Stages, best practices
Experience with HashiCorp: Vault, Consule
Experience with CD: FluxCD or ArgoCD
