About the Role:
Within our Global DevOps department, you will play a pivotal role in managing our pre-production and development systems, which support our SaaS products. As a part of they team, you will actively contribute to building and maintaining our AWS environment, ensuring its smooth operation and continuous improvement through DevOps processes and automation. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain deployment processes for applications, ensuring efficient and error-free releases
Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline the deployment, monitoring, and management of applications
Manage and maintain configuration settings for application components
Implement and oversee configuration management tools to ensure consistency across environments
Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track the performance and health of applications and infrastructure
Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of application infrastructure with other IT components
Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents promptly
You will work on an application based on a Linux server (On perm)
You will have cross-product responsibility for CICD and the standard process
Required Competence and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer focusing on infrastructure, with expertise in Linux-based applications.
Strong knowledge of the Docker platform (K8, OCP)
Strong knowledge in one of the following applications (WebLogic, WebSphere, Oracle, Jenkins)
Strong capability to troubleshoot complicated problem
Ability to learn new technology and implement it in our environment
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible)
Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
Ability to perform in a global company, in a multi cultural environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong work ethic, proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficient in spoken and written English
