Senior Data Engineer (offline)

We have a request from our client in the USA. The customer is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with good spoken English.

It is the fresh, smart matchmaking startup dedicated to putting fun and romance back into dating.

Responsibilities:

The goal that we mentioned was to improve the state of our data feeding in Sigma so that it can be self-served by other departments.

But we really need someone with more experience building and maintaining data pipelines, not just from SQL data sources (e.g. MySQL) but also from event sources (like Segment).

Soft-skills for the candidate:

- proactive

- a person, which asks right questions

- responsible and willing to take an ownership

Technology:

MUST:

- Python

- Airflow

- Redshift/SQL

Nice to Have:

- Work with AWS. Able to set up an infrastructure

- Terraform

- Sigma. At least heard about it

- Segment.com At least heard about it
