Senior Full Stack .NET Developer

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Proven ASP.NET Core development experience (at least 5 years)
- Good skills in Angular 8+ with other modern frameworks, e.g. React/Next.js
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with SASS
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with RESTful APIs

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Can take large-sized user stories and work under own initiative, breaking the story into sub-tasks independently.
- Understands when to escalate meaningful changes with the Lead Software Engineer.
- Implements complex architecture and, along with the Lead Software Engineer, helps define it.
- Acts as a strong advocate for test-driven development, ensuring appropriate unit and integration tests are implemented by the whole team.
- Able to spot and solve most problems they encounter, and help their team do the same.
- Actively joins in with design conversations and partners with Lead Software Engineers to solve complex problems.
- Able to implement common patterns and able to coach more junior team members understand these patterns. As the ability to explain common patterns such as Mediator, CQRS etc.
- A detailed understanding of Agile (Scrum) and how to contribute to a Scrum team.
- Participation in stand-ups, backlog refinements, and sprint planning. Accurate task-board discipline. Quick to raise impediment and seek the help of others during a sprint. Contributes to the
improvements in process.
- Participates in debates on team health; suggests changes in team/individual behaviour to correct any problems.
- Has the courage to say when something is not right and equally to take the initiative to do something about it.
