Middle Fullstack Developer (Angular + Java)

About you
You will be responsible for extending our client’s core intelligent document analysis web application to include additional features needed to serve our current and future markets.

About project
Our client provides unprecedented accuracy and speed in contract review and management, due diligence, compliance, and lease abstraction.

Your area of responsibility
-Working independently and as leader of a feature team to design and implement new functionality into the client’s core product, a modern single-page web application;
-Review code from junior engineers for correctness, security, and quality and assist in getting code production-ready;
-Participate in design discussions with product manager and domain experts and assess feasibility of new products and features.

Skills and requirements
-3+ years experience in Angular;
-General understanding of backend architecture in Java;
-Experience with Bootstrap, MySQL, CSS, Git;
-Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker;
-Fluency in UX and product design from an engineering perspective, a willingness to learn about the legal industry and our customers’ needs, and the ability to work directly with product managers and UI/UX designers;
-Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences;
-Architecture and systems experience: must be able to build scalable, fault-tolerant modules and design architectures that are intuitive and extensible for other engineers.

Will be a plus
-Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;
-Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch);
-Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS services such as EC2, CloudWatch, S3, etc;
-Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcasing technical skills.
