Project overview (USA): Dating product mobile app for long-term relationships, Tinder-like app project.

Team Size: 4 Software Engineers (Ukraine).

Interview Stages:
1) HR Interview — up to 40 minutes
2) Technical Interview — up to 1.5 hours
3) Final Interview — 15 minutes

If you possess the following experience and skills, you would be an excellent fit for our team:

— Experience in Node.js and React Native development more than 5 years (Proven experience in developing and shipping successful mobile applications (iOS and Android) with a focus on dating/social networking apps); 
— Knowledge of machine learning techniques for recommendation systems and matchmaking algorithms;
— Proficiency in programming languages: JavaScript, TypeScript;
— Strong Git knowledge (Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).);
— Knowledge of Azure/AWS; 
— Upper-Intermediate English; 
— Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions; 
— Effective team collaboration, working well with developers, designers, project managers, and clients; 
— Excellent communication skills, both within the team and with clients or stakeholders. 


Your responsibilities will include the following tasks within your workflow: 

— Building a product mobile app;
— Managing other developers;
— New features development within a product;
— Collaboration with designer to design and implement intuitive, easy-to-use web-based user interfaces;
— Contribute to requirements gathering and analysis;
— Bug fixing of newly developed features;
— Cover the features with the tests;
— Resolving technical problems as they arise;
— Develop documentation throughout the SDLC;
— Managing the project architecture;
— Writing code;
— Code-review;
— CI/CD processing;
— Collaboration with Project manager in communication with client;
— Writing the documentation;
— Managing and supporting project codebase on the Git repositories and infrastructure on the Azure/ AWS;
— Attend meetings with the Customer.

Desired (but not required) Experience:

— Experience in the development of dating apps will be a significant advantage;
— GitHub account with open-source contributions to dating/Tinder-like app projects or related social networking apps.
