Senior Data Engineer

Working hours: Need to overlap with 9-4pm EST.

Our client is a dynamic matchmaking startup dedicated to revitalizing dating with innovative technology. They are renowned for their efficient matchmaking and recruiting solutions.

Technical Project Description:
The client utilizes a tech stack comprising Airflow, MySQL, Redshift, Sigma, Segment, and PHP Etl. Data flows from Airflow to Segment.com, filling Redshift, which is then utilized in a Sigma reporting engine. The candidate will optimize data pipelines, focusing on performance enhancement and pipeline management.

Project Tech Stack:
SQL, Redshift, PHP, Pandas, Sigma

Mandatory Skills:
- Python
- Airflow
- Redshift/SQL

Team Structure:
The product and engineering team consists of 3 squads and 2 PMs. This role will collaborate with squads and report to product and engineering leadership.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will enhance data feeding in Sigma, improve data pipelines, and demonstrate expertise in SQL and event sources.

Nice to Have:
- Experience with AWS and Terraform
- Familiarity with Sigma and Segment.com
- Knowledge of PHP
