SPD Technology is looking for a React Native Development Lead.

About the project

We are seeking a talented Lead React Native Developer to spearhead the restaurant front desk mobile application development for iOS and Android platforms. As a Lead React Native Developer, you will lead a team of developers, collaborate with designers and product managers, and ensure the successful delivery of the mobile application.

You’ll work with the following stack: Typescript/Javascript, React Native, Redux, Native Modules, AWS,REST, MySQL and Postgres DB

Team: Scrum team of 5

Work schedule: Standard 10:00 to 18:00 (can be flexible).

As a qualified expert You will
- Lead and manage a team of React Native developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team’s success.
- Set technical direction and best practices for React Native development, ensuring adherence to coding standards, architecture guidelines, and performance optimization techniques.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and drive the successful delivery of React Native applications.
- Architect, design, and implement complex features/modules for mobile applications using React Native.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote a culture of code quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure seamless integration of React Native applications with backend systems, APIs, and third-party services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and best practices in mobile development, particularly in the React Native ecosystem.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other agile/scrum ceremonies to drive project execution and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, mitigate risks, and meet project milestones.

We’re looking for you if you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-7 years experience in developing mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
- 3-5 years experience in leadership and management skills with experience leading and mentoring development teams.
- In-depth understanding of React Native architecture, components, and lifecycle methods.
- Proficiency in Typescript/JavaScript, React Native, Redux, and Native Modules
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture patterns
- Experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and integrating third-party libraries and services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- A portfolio of previous mobile applications was developed using React Native.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with native iOS and Android development (Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin) is a plus.
