Infrastructure Engineer - OKD Management

We are seeking couple of experienced Infrastructure Engineers to join our team and manage the OKD platform, an open-source version of Red Hat's OpenShift. The successful candidate will be
responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the OKD environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This is a
full-time position with remote work.

Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and manage the OKD infrastructure, including but not limited to:
+ Clusters (bare metal, virtual machines, containerized)
+ Networking (load balancers, firewalls, routers)
+ Storage (local storage, rook/ceph storage)
+ Monitoring and logging (logging, monitoring tools, analytics)
* Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of the OKD environment
* Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and services into the OKD platform
* Develop and maintain documentation for OKD infrastructure and processes
* Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and incident management
* Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in containerization, orchestration, and cloud computing
* Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure consistency and integrity of the overall system architecture

Requirements:

* Experience managing infrastructure for containerized applications (OkD, OpenShift, Kubernetes, etc.)
* Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
* Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises datacenter environments
* Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.) and security measures (firewalls, intrusion detection, etc.)
* Scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or other similar languages
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Nagios, ELK Stack, etc.)
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with OKD version 4.x or higher
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.)
* Familiarity with container security best practices (SELinux, AppArmor, etc.)
* Experience with distributed tracing and monitoring tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, etc.)
* Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL, ISO 20000, etc.)
