Junior / Trainee Data Scientist (offline) $500-800
We are seeking a Junior / Trainee Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at
Refalunt. In this role, you will be an integral part of our data-driven journey, working closely with seasoned data engineers and business to extract meaningful insights from complex data. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in data processing, modeling, and analysis, contributing directly to the strategic decisions and success of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large datasets.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of machine learning models.
- Perform statistical analysis and interpret data to identify trends and patterns.
- Participate in the development of data visualization and reporting tools. - We use Looker and Quicksight as reporting tools.
- Work alongside senior data scientists to refine algorithms and systems.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with data processing and visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
