Pre-sales Engineer

Dataweb Global Group — an international IT infrastructure solutions provider, is looking for a Pre-sales Engineer who is the primary technical contact for our customers and potential partners during the early stages of their requests.

The company was founded in 2002, and has been providing complex, sophisticated IT infrastructure solutions (Cloud Services solutions, Dedicated Servers, CDN, Collocation). Our customers are international high-loaded projects: VOD cinemas, Ad/CPA networks, FinTech, SaaS, and file-sharing services providers. We have 21 PoPs in the USA, Europe, and Asia.

Responsibilities:
- Participating in New Revenue Elevation through: Collaborate with Product, Sales, BizDev, Marketing, Client Service, R&D and Engineering teams to craft customized optimal infrastructure solutions and their roadmap (PoC, MVP, etc.) considering the capabilities and abilities of the company
- Investigating the client's needs and pain points at the first stages of communication and craft solutions that include both a single product or a hybrid solution based on several products
- Collecting customer requirements and identifying potential problems with the product implementation
- Preparing proposals according to the conducted analysis

Requirements:
- Understanding of the hosting and IaaS markets and permanent competitors analysis (TOP Cloud and Dedicated Servers providers)
- Deep Knowledge of infrastructure components (public or private cloud, bare-metal servers, CDN, firewalls and other) and understanding how to craft optimal but custom hybrid solutions based on it (product-line) as well as main characteristics, pros and cons, and limitations
- Understanding of basic Linux/Unix, networking, containerization, virtualization principles, and CDN principles
- Experience of working with clients (B2B) and focus on the service component and its development
- Good communication skills, experience of effective work with proposals and objections
- Required languages: English — Must in high level, Ukrainian/Russian
- Willing and ability to travel (mainly in Europe) whenever needed
