DBA (Database administrator with programming experience)

The family-style company is looking for a talented Database administrator with programming experience to join our team.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL database development and management.
- Proficient in SQL programming, database design, and data modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong capabilities to apply abstract thinking.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities (English).
- Experience with cloud-based database deployments.

Your typical tasks list:

- Design, develop, and implement complex database systems, applications, and solutions using Microsoft SQL.
- Optimize and maintain existing databases to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Willingness to work with Thinkwise - the low-code development platform.
- Use his knowledge and know-how to be able (quickly learn to) develop applications in Thinkwise.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with data privacy laws and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and performance bottlenecks.
