20-hours-working-week Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer

As a valued member of our team, your role will involve crafting and nurturing multi-service cloud-based backend systems that form the backbone of our innovative solutions in fintech with our cutting-edge SaaS products.

Duties and Responsibilities
● Azure Infrastructure Management:
○ Architect, deploy and manage Azure infrastructure components.
○ Optimize Azure resources for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
○ Implement monitoring and alerting systems to identify and address issues.
● DevOps Automation:
○ Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools for
automated build, test, and deployment processes.
○ Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision and manage Azure resources.
○ Streamline development workflows and improve efficiency through automation.
○ Implement configuration management solutions to ensure consistency and reliability
across environments.
● Security and Incident Response:
○ Develop and implement security best practices for Azure environments.
○ Conduct regular security assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
○ Monitor Azure environments for security incidents and respond promptly to mitigate risks.

Required Skills and Experience
● 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, and cybersecurity with a focus on Azure.
● Proficiency in Azure services and tools: Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel etc.
● In-depth knowledge of Terraform and Pulumi IaC to provision and manage Azure resources.
● Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash or similar languages.
● Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
● Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to Azure.
● Experience with network security, IAM, penetration testing and data protection.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective R&D team interaction.

Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with AWS services - big advantage.
● Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning automation platforms like Terraform Cloud.
● Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, or OWASP.
