Senior Python developer

We are seeking an experienced Python developer with overlap to JS technologies. Our client is a company specializing in geospatial data, mobile data, and statistical analysis. They have developed a robust data platform, but they are seeking a Senior Python Developer to enhance it further, streamline processes, and automate manual tasks.


What is it about and who are we looking for
Building Efficient Server-Side Applications:

Designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications, systems, and tools.
Integrating front-end components into applications.
Technical Leadership and Independence:

Working independently within the team, with the authority to change and upgrade components as needed.
Having a high degree of freedom to shape the technical landscape.
Backend Development:

Utilizing Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, and Bottle.
Exploring other Python frameworks (e.g., Hex, GraphQL) and having the flexibility to upgrade or consolidate them in the future.
Frontend Development:

Collaborating with React and Next.js for front-end development.
Familiarity with TypeScript.
Hosting applications on Vercel and using GitHub CI for continuous integration.
Client Interaction:

Communicating with clients located in Europe and catering to US clients.
Occasionally attending meetings around 8 PM CET (Central European Time).
Language Skills:

Proficiency in English (good enough level).
