Python team lead in Tel Aviv (office fulltime)

Location: Tel Aviv, office fulltime
We are seeking a Python Lead to become a part of our insurance project team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a group of Python developers. Your knowledge and leadership skills will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of our product and fostering its ongoing enhancement.

Responsibilities:
- Leading and overseeing a team of Python developers, which involves setting objectives, offering feedback, and mentoring team members.
- Working closely with other teams and stakeholders to grasp project requirements and ensure the prompt delivery of high-quality code.
- Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable Python applications and systems.
- Performing code reviews and ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture and design materials.
- Identifying and addressing technical risks and issues, and providing recommendations for enhancements.
- Keeping abreast of the latest trends and technologies in Python development, and sharing knowledge with the team.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continual learning and improvement.
- Monitoring and managing project timelines and resources, ensuring timely project delivery.
- Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with the company's overall strategy.

Requirements:
— Proven experience as a Python developer, with a minimum of 4 years in this role.
— Strong proficiency in Python programming language and related frameworks Django.
— Experience in leading and managing a team of developers, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and mentoring.
— Solid understanding of software development principles, best practices, and design patterns.
— Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
— Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
— Upper-Intermediate English level.
