IT System Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain cutting-edge data center, including Linux servers, network infrastructure, and VPNs.
- Organize, monitor, and enhance shipping technology to streamline processes.
- Continuously optimize overall system performance and devise hardware expansion strategies as required.
- Manage patch deployment to ensure system security and stability.
- Oversee backup procedures to safeguard critical data.
- Implement quality assurance protocols to maintain system reliability.
- Develop and test proprietary programs for enhanced functionality.
- Manage APIs and SDKs to facilitate seamless integration.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent qualification, or demonstrable expertise in software engineering.
- Strong leadership skills with a collaborative approach to team management.
- Proficient in network protocols including TCP, HTTP, SMTP, and DNS.
- Experience in operating Linux servers (Redhat, CentOS), automation tools (Ansible), and highly available web servers (Apache, Nginx).
- Familiarity with cluster computing technologies such as OCFS2 and Percona XtraDB, as well as Dell Powervault Storage.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++ and PHP, along with database management skills in mySQL, is advantageous.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
- Excellent command of English.
