Role Overview:
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to lay the foundation of our Human Resources function, blending strategic vision with operational expertise. Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and execution of HR policies and practices that nurture our innovative culture and support our dynamic team.
- Drive the recruitment process: Take the lead in identifying and fulfilling talent needs, facilitating the seamless integration of new team members. This includes spearheading recruitment efforts for on-site employees in the US and Asia, as well as recruiting and managing a global remote workforce. Ensure each stage of the hiring process reflects our values and mission, fostering a diverse and inclusive team that's equipped to contribute to our ambitious goals.
- Manage a comprehensive training program that empowers our team members, enhancing their skills and fostering a deep connection with our culture.
- Oversee a performance management system that motivates excellence and aligns with our strategic goals.
- Promote a workplace environment that is healthy, inclusive, and conducive to high performance.
- Offer counsel to leadership on HR strategies and contribute to the company's strategic planning.
- Ensure our practices comply with employment laws and regulations, maintaining GuineaDad as a model of integrity and fairness.
- Cultivate a feedback-rich atmosphere encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.

Requirements:
- Flexible Availability: Must be able to ensure at least a 4-hour daily overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours to facilitate collaboration with our teams in the US and Asia. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule that can be adjusted to meet the company’s evolving needs, prioritizing critical interactions and projects.
- At least 3 years of proven track record in HR, with experience in developing HR frameworks in a startup or high-growth setting preferred.
- A holistic understanding of HR operations, including recruitment, training, performance management, and compliance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships across all company levels.
- Self-motivated, with a knack for prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
- A robust knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certifications are a plus.
