About the company:
The international product Fintech company engaged in financial projects in various markets and market segments. Core business areas include online lending, KYC, LaaS (lending software as a service) products and ad tech. All projects were launched and managed by an in-house team. There are offices in Nicosia, Bucharest, Prague and a co-working space in Kyiv.

Tech Stack: Java 11-13, React, PostgreSQL, Oracle, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway).

We are looking for a CTO for this company to lead a high-performing technology team, to create a plan for the development and scaling of the current product, to adjust processes to be more efficient with a strategy for entering new markets.

As CTO, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the development and deployment of new functionalities while ensuring they are delivered quickly, efficiently, and with minimal complexity
- Manage IT costs effectively to prevent budget inflation while maintaining high-quality standards
- Facilitate rapid scaling by replicating existing systems for new products and geographical markets
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Foster the autonomy of mature projects, allowing them to operate independently
- Represent the company's technological vision and capabilities to US tech investors, showcasing a strong professional profile and communication skills
- Be in charge of the architecture and ecosystems of the company's IT products
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team
- Evaluate, select, and manage technology vendors and partners
- Work closely with other C-level executives, to align technology initiatives with overall business strategy

We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in a senior IT management role (CTO/CIO/IT Director) for at least 10 years.
- Strong background in software development and systems architecture, with an emphasis on scalability and security for at least 15 years.
- Experience with global market expansion and managing IT operations across different regions.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and investors.
- Fluent in English, with additional languages being a plus.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of innovation and effective cost management.

Will be a plus:
- Experience working in a FinTech company will be a significant advantage.
