About the project:
Trading platform that allows banks to exchange currencies.
We're looking for a Business/System Analyst who combines expertise in financial domains like currency exchange (FX) and payment systems with technical savvy in FIX and REST protocols. This individual will be responsible for communicating requirements from the product team and orchestrating delivery in the most efficient way.
Requirements:
● 2+ years of experience in related topics: basics of currencies and exchange (FX), payment systems, including SWIFT transfers, and the ISO 20022 standard.
● General understanding of the cross-border exchange services industry, including US banks, liquidity providers, and payment vendors worldwide.
● Preferable technical background, with at least basic experience working as a developer or in QA.
● A person with a structured mindset will bring well-organized information and authoritative guidance on how the system should work to meet business needs.
● A quick learner for analyzing vendor and customer documentation.
● A good communicator for both business and technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
● Maintain the BA planning and monitoring processes, ensuring effective requirements management and quality.
● Analyze business background information to make justified software requirements decisions.
● Elicit requirements from various sources by conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, prototyping, and analyzing interfaces and documents.
● Analyze and contribute to the roadmap and strategy, defining priorities for the BA and the team's efforts.
● Create detailed specifications for the project, including user stories, acceptance criteria, interface-specific requirements, and technical specifications to guide development and testing.
● Analyze alternative and exception scenarios, providing crucial input for manual and automated testing processes.
● Utilize modeling techniques, such as sequence diagrams and process models, to visualize and communicate complex system behaviors and processes.
● Implement requirements management techniques, ensuring traceability and the reuse of requirements, analyzing requirements changes, and communicating approvals to streamline the development process and minimize redundancies.
