Backend Engineer (offline)

Position Title: Backend Engineer

Core Technical Skills:

Database Proficiency:
We are seeking candidates with a robust grasp and hands-on expertise in both NoSQL and SQL databases. A minimum of 1 year of practical experience in handling database technologies is essential. Successful candidates will showcase their ability to proficiently design, manage, and optimize databases.

Scripting Mastery:
Scripting Proficiency: Demonstrated mastery of scripting languages, with a focus on producing not only functional but also clean and scalable code.

Backend Development Excellence:
A robust background in backend development is essential. Proficiency in API development, particularly with Node.js, Express, and Flask, is highly valued.

Version Control Expertise:
Strong familiarity with version control systems, especially Git, showcasing the ability to engage in collaborative development and effective version control in professional settings.

Nice to Have:

MongoDB Proficiency: While having expertise in MongoDB is beneficial, it's not a prerequisite. We highly value your eagerness to explore and gain proficiency in MongoDB and other database technologies

Airtable Experience: Familiarity with Airtable as a flexible database and collaboration tool is a noteworthy asset, especially if complemented by an understanding of its API and integration capabilities.

DevOps Practices: Appreciation for DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing, is highly appreciated.

Diverse Programming Skills: Familiarity with other programming languages or frameworks relevant to backend development is viewed as an additional asset.

Previous Experience Requirements:
This position is designed for individuals with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional experience or a blend of education and project work demonstrating proficiency in managing both NoSQL and SQL databases. Your scripting expertise in JavaScript or Python should be complemented by a proven track record in backend development, with specific experience in Node.js, Express, and Flask, particularly in a TypeScript environment.
