Network Security Support Engineer (offline)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Network Security Support Engineer to provide technical support and expertise in the realm of network security. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security best practices. They will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support for network security devices and systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.

- Monitor network security systems for anomalies, intrusions, and potential security breaches.

- Investigate security incidents and provide timely resolution and mitigation strategies.

- Implement and maintain network security policies, procedures, and configurations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure network solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

- Conduct periodic security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Develop and deliver training sessions for staff on network security best practices.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in network security administration or related role.

- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and OSI model.

- Hands-on experience with network security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, etc.

- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, or equivalent are a plus.
