Responsibilities:
- Utilize Elixir for solving intricate programming challenges within our web application.
- Implement new features using React.js to improve user experience.
- Develop reusable front-end components and libraries in alignment with UX specifications.
- Translate design concepts into high-quality code for seamless integration with the backend.
- Optimize components for peak performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with the development team to prioritize user experience strategies.
- Stay updated on coding best practices through ongoing research.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing code to ensure continued functionality.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain code quality.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of real-world experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Elixir, Phoenix, and React.js in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of Elixir and React.js.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience with front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with Tailwind CSS is a plus.
