CV ML Engineer (Team Lead possibility) (offline)

A stealth digital Team for a Ukrainian ammunition and military devices production is seeking a talented Computer Vision Machine Learning Engineer to help implement the Team’s idea of IoT CV-based military solutions.

We want to design the “battlefield of tomorrow”, and for that we need someone with a passion for innovating, making things better and a deep understanding of Machine Learning to help us achieve our goals. Someone who is not afraid to take ownership of bringing theory to life and is galvanized by doing it from scratch.

As a Computer Vision Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in translating the Product Strategy into measurable milestones and concrete Product Increments. There is an opportunity to influence Team assembly process for this position, as well as Team Leadership perspectives in the immediate future.

Key Responsibilities:

🎯 Convert Product Strategy into practical DL applications tailored to the needs of the project
⚠️ Tackle complex real-world problems using advanced data analysis techniques and relentlessly iterate
👥 Collaborate with the Team to deploy and maintain ML systems, ensuring high performance and accuracy in real-world applications
🔬 Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field of computer vision and machine learning, incorporating new methodologies and technologies into the process
💻 Implement solutions practically

Requirements:

✅ At least 3 (three) years of prior commercial experience in CV. Delivery of from-scratch projects will be a plus
✅ Experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
✅ Experience with programming languages like Python/Java;
✅ Familiarity with data structures and software architecture in general, including (but not limited to) OOP, Rest API (Flask, Celery), Docker
✅ Deep understanding of CV-related concepts and widely used models (and their advantages)
✅ Knowledge of Miltech and personal hands-on experience/engagement in helping Ukraine technologically is a plus
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✅ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to learning and development. We would welcome someone who is open to generating constructive input and gathering the Team towards it
