Senior Java Software Engineer(Big Data, Analytics)

Intempt Technologies is eagerly seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer (Big Data, Analytics) who is proficient in advanced Java SE/EE stack that includes Clickhouse, Kafka, Flink, RocksDB, AutoGluon. This role is perfect for a professional adept in Java SE/EE for Big Data, Analytics background looking to be a principal engineer in a vibrant startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead the Java (and some Python) software engineering of software features, working on a Java microservices stack and using Clickhouse, Kafka, Flink, PostgreSQL, RocksDB and ML with AutoGluon.
-Engage with the engineering team in Proof of Concepts (PoCs), focusing on advanced data processing, machine learning, and analytical technologies.
-Mentor and guide junior team members in a startup setting, valuing being practical and creative.
-Concentrate on harmonizing backend and frontend development with a strong emphasis on Java as the primary language and JavaScript as the secondary language.


Educational and Experience Requirements:

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
-7+ years of experience in software development.
-Proficiency in Java SE and EE on Unix/Windows platforms, along with some experience in Clickhouse, Kafka, Flink, PostgreSQL, AutoGluon or similar OLAP, stream and ML pipeline processing


Qaulifications

-Expertise in Java SE, Java EE, Kubernetes, Microservices, Python, and ML with AutoGluon.
-Deep experience with some data-intensive technologies: Clickhouse, Kafka, Flink, PostgreSQL, AutoGluon.
-Capability in developing multi-threaded, highly throughput and low latency systems.
-Proficiency in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns.
-Familiarity with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and the EKS platform
-Exceptional debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
-Good knowledge of Unit Testing, Memory Leaks, and Performance Tuning.
-Rapid adaptability to new technologies and startup-centric development practices.


Language:
-B2 (Upper intermediate) level of spoken and written English to facilitate clear communication with team members and executive management.
