Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead (Python) (offline)

Required skills:
• 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering
• Familiar with back-end side development on PostgreSQL, Python (API layer uses Chalice, which is similar to Flask but uses AWS Lambda & API Gateway for deployment)
• Good knowledge of front-end side development on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/Typescript
• Good knowledge of Amazon Web Services (such as Cognito, SNS, and S3)
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment frameworks, tools, and implementation
• Software architecture experience being able to define custom analytics, reporting, and event processing.
• Thorough understanding of Scrum
• Can lead a single Scrum team of team members
• Intermediate English and can communicate effectively with client Product Manager

As a plus:
• Development experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) system such as Epic, Cerner, and Athena Health
• Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, RDS, Cognito, SNS, Amplify, and S3
• Security concepts such as OAuth, JWTs. Experience building apps with multiple tenants, multiple permission levels, data auditing, etc.

Responsibilities:
• Full-stack software development with providing of senior-level development experience with the primary focus on back-end side of our current stack: PostgreSQL, Python (API layer uses Chalice, which is similar to Flask, but uses AWS Lambda & API Gateway for deployment), Angular/Typescript, various AWS services such as Cognito, SNS, and S3.
• Provides architectural leadership across both web and mobile and is knowledgeable across all application layers such as user interface, services, and data storage
• Mentors development resources on technology, architecture, and software development processes and procedures
• Contributes to planning and retrospective meetings and support Product Manager
• Organizes and leads daily team Scrum and Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective
• Tracks all progress and updates in Jira/Confluence or similar tool and ensures that the entire team is doing the same
• Supports QA and QA automation with complex programming tasks where necessary
• Ensures that proper technical documentation is in place and being updated

We are building software to empower a doctor's office exclusively for Medicare seniors to warding its goal of a more connected healthcare experience where interactions with patients are not limited to physical in-office visits.
