DevOps Engineer (offline)

Uplandme, Inc. was founded in 2018 by three serial entrepreneurs. The game launched into open beta in January 2020 and became the largest blockchain game just eight months later. Available for iOS, Android, and the mobile web, Upland uses blockchain technology to power “true ownership” of digital assets.

To expand its reach beyond blockchain aficionados and towards a mass-market audience, we are looking for a highly skilled and talented DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us architect and build and maintain security and compliance solutions for the AWS cloud. sites/software.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
Maintain existing Kubernetes cluster designs, propose improvements and add new features as needed.
Troubleshoot developer environments including assisting developers with deploying new features using automated tools.
Assist with production deployments, monitoring and troubleshooting.


Key Requirements:
3+ years experience as a DevOps engineer in a highly scalable, fast growing cloud environment. In Depth expertise of AWS is required.
Experience with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, Lambda
Demonstrated hands-on experience with DevOps techniques building continuous integration solutions using Jenkins, Docker, Git, Maven
Hands on experience in at least one of the programming languages such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
Full software development lifecycle experience
Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and networking concepts
Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS
Experience with one or more AWS SDKs and/or CLI
Expertise in leveraging Automation / DevOps principles, experience with operational tools, and able to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment
Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently and as a team player
Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and ability to effectively multitask
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, and customer service skills
