Financial Controller (offline)
Requirements:
— 4+ years of commercial experience in the following positions: Financial Controller or International Accountant, or Financial Analyst with international market experience.
— Good knowledge of Cypriot, Maltese legislation and accounting requirements (knowledge and experience with Ukrainian legislation – advantage).
— Excellent understanding of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, month-end reporting, the bookkeeping process, cash flow, credit control, reconciliations, book closing etc.)
— A strong experience in VAT, Tax.
— Skilled in Analytics, Risk Management and Customer Service.
— Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to operate in an international and changing environment.
— Highly analytical and able to work with complex information with ease.
— Well organized, proactive and efficient personality as well as trustworthy, reliable, flexible.
— Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills.
— High level of spoken and written English.
— Proficient computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel.
Would be nice to have:
— Experience in iGaming (B2B).
— Support of foreign companies (Cyprus, Malta).
— An additional language (Maltese) is an advantage but not essential.
Responsibilities:
— Accounts Receivable, sending invoices, reply to client queries, book keeping of customer payment and credit control based on the provided figures/statistic/reports from Account Managers.
— General bookkeeping, reconciliations, book closing for Cyprus and Maltese companies.
— Other various accounting tasks, such as investigations, administrative work, filing, formation of requests in back-office etc.
— Cooperation with foreign agents on VAT and reverse charge issues for Cyprus and Maltese companies.
— Cooperation with foreign agents on financial aspects of IP Box regime support and transfer pricing.
— Financial planning, proactive communication with the Business Development Team for increase and management of profits as well as optimization of expenses.
