Senior DevOPS Engineer (TIC) (offline)

You will work closely with other technologists, researchers and portfolio managers, monitoring and developing systems and tools to support our core production systems - build, testing and deployment pipelines, software and productivity tools, monitoring and middleware, data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
• Monitoring and supporting our software infrastructure and model production system; Investigating and troubleshooting issues
• Developing software systems
• Assembling platforms and frameworks to automate business processes
• Collaborating with internal technology, research and portfolio management teams

Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in system administration: Linux and Windows OS
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with Git version control system (anything else is not required but can be a plus such as SVN)
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity (preferably) but will consider someone with Jenkins experience too
• Experience with build automation and continuous integration tools - Maven, Ant (Gradle could be a plus too)
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible (Puppet, Chef are plus)
• Relational Databases: SQL Server, Sybase - basic understanding of administration and SQL language
• Apache, NGINX, Tomcat administrations;
Personal skills:
• Passionate about server side technologies (clusters, grids, clouds), OS
• Eager learner of new technologies and systems
• Written and verbal interpersonal communications skills
• Team player
• Good verbal and written communication English skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter (it would be great to have it but this not a requirement)
• Experience with ELK stack (elastic search, logstash, kibana)
• Experience in cloud services like AWS, GCS is an additional plus
• Experience in Java, Scala, Groovy, etc. is an additional plus
• Highly available distributed software
• Documentation and presentation skills
