Art Design Director / Design Studio Director / Head of Design (offline)

MVST:MG is an international startup early-stage investment fund in the field of fintech/blockchain/games / ad-tech with an in-house accelerator. We are creating an in-house Design Studio, which will work with the start-ups we incubate. We are looking for a Studio General Manager to control, develop and manage the Studio from scratch. As a Studio Manager, you will guarantee the development of high-quality games and supporting design elements for them.

Requirement:

— Experience in creating and shaping the art/ design department;
— Extensive experience in finding and interviewing designers, operators, creatives;
— In-depth knowledge of processes in web-design, mobile app, game art creation;
— Employee training, motivation and kpi;
— Capability to communicate and work with business owners and top-level managers;
— English level not less than Upper Intermediate;
— Organized and highly detail-oriented;
— Creative thinking, ability to bring ideas to the final design decisions, ability to find a solution outside the box;
— Ability to handle multiple priorities/projects simultaneously and tight deadlines;

— Strong co-development mindset.

Duties:

— Participation in creating a new Design Studio;
— Lead the site opening project, presenting a project plan defining all needs for the studio set-up (staff, budgeting, communication strategy, administrative and logistics…);
— Art supervision and customer communications with Ukrainian and foreign clients;
— Assistance in recruiting and hiring designers, artists and creatives for the Studio;
— Manage and lead the team of designers in the Studio, creating game design, web-design, mobile app design etc;
— Develop a plan to achieve the best results possible while delivering on time and with in budget ;
— Motivate and mentor the team of creatives;
— Work with start-ups and assisting in creating high class design decisions for them;
— Building and improving processes inside the studio;
— Systematized workflows, developed guidelines.
