As a Treatment Planner at LightForce Orthodontics, you will be an active member of a fast-growing start-up at the forefront of digital manufacturing.

You will use our proprietary 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software to generate personalized treatment plans for complex orthodontic cases, ensuring that each treatment is developed quickly, according to our standard operating procedures (SOPs), and within the clinical boundaries of each specific case.

Previous orthodontics experience is not required, but good spatial awareness and a willingness to learn new tools and skills will be beneficial.

This position will report to the Operations Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Manipulate 3D design files to prepare personalized orthodontic treatment plans using our proprietary treatment planning software
● Follow specifications, job orders, work instructions, and quality procedures to ensure that program outputs are within clinical boundaries
● Communicate directly with doctors during the case review and approval process
● Actively participate in the development and improvement of our software/product
● Support the training or cross-training of specialists that are new to the work area
● Comply with all Company policies including safety, operating procedures, quality, attendance, and proper on-the-job conduct

Education and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, or related technical field preferred
● 0-2 years professional experience in 3D design, computer-aided design (CAD), or similar; will accept additional professional experience in lieu of degree
● Previous orthodontics/dental experience is a plus
Qualifications
● Demonstrated design creativity
● Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as a passion for learning
● Familiarity with executing Standard Operating Procedures in a manufacturing or assembling environment
● Basic computer knowledge, such as using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
● Must demonstrate acute attention to detail and organizational skills
● Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment
● Appreciation for medical design as equal parts art and science
