Role and responsibilities: You'll help manage and deploy to our infrastructure, using Docker and Ansible to support our microservices architecture. Specifically, we're looking for someone to help us with:
• Supporting and developing new features for our platform
• Supporting deployments of new features from our developer team
• Contributing to our design and architecture discussions
• Creating and maintaining configuration and code for our clusters using Ansible
• Monitoring and supporting uptime
• Monitoring and supporting performance
Requirements and skills
Our ideal candidate is an experienced DevOps Engineer with Docker, Ansible, and GoLang experience. It's great if you have blockchain experience already, but if do not we are happy to teach you.
Specifically, we are looking for:
• Experience with GoLang and/or Node.js, or a strong interest in upskilling in these languages
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English)
• 2+ years of experience with DevOps on-premises or in AWS
• Experience using Ansible
• Deep understanding of microservice architectures
• Strong profiling experience, including a deep understanding of using a performance profiler and doing memory allocation analysis
• A good understanding of containerization (we use Docker)
• Deep understanding of web systems and protocols;
• A deep understanding of the best practices for building modern web applications
• Experience architecting modern web applications
• Obsessive about designing modular systems, creating reusable components
• Optimization: both in terms of speed and scalability
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with version control (git)
Bonus:
• Understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum
