Finance Controller (offline)

The successful candidate will be one with 2-3 years of relevant experience in traditional markets looking to make their first move from a leading firm or a graduate with a very strong academic background.

A vital interest in a digital assets market is a must. Those with an experience in DeFi might have an advantage. Furthermore, you will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and interact at a senior level.

Responsibilities:

- Budgeting and cash flow planning
- Maintaining firm’s accounting, management and tax records
- Preparation of financial statements under IFRS and monthly management reports
- Implementation of internal processes and controls, where needed
- Assisting in financial modelling, business valuations and portfolio structuring
- Research and analysis of digital assets trends and developments
- Assessment and reporting on specific early-stage projects
- On-chain data extraction and analysis (big data analysis); collecting data sets (exchanges, pricing, transactions, etc) and create an internal repository
- Communication and coordination between internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

- Knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP, understanding of local GAAP and tax law
- Proficiency in English written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and big data analysis tools
- Higher academic degree in finance, economics, math or accounting
- ACCA and / or CFA or an equivalent certification in progress is an advantage
- Good understanding of financial analysis and valuation techniques
- Prioritise well, things get done attitude, deep quality focus when required
- Multitasking, proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

This is a full-time position with an option for part time WFH.
