DevOps Engineer (offline)

THE CHALLENGE
Provide support and solutions for users at our Mobile Research

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engineers will provide thought leadership to the team in new technologies, identifying/ implementing/ leading improvements that will significantly improve time to market for our products.
• Assist development teams to build and deploy micro services-based applications in public cloud with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes
• Support cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, and change requests on client cloud environments
• Create, implement, and assist in the development of scripts to automate everyday operations
• Develop common components and templates for resources in Cloud using Infrastructure as Code
• Design, lead and build an automated deployment tool set and infrastructure including environments, code management using a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process
• Oversee and develop continuous delivery framework and DevOps tools & infrastructure as code and automation
• Build solutions based on security, monitoring, logging, and alerting requirements
• Provide guidance and technical support regarding architectural and procedural best practices both across departments and applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for designs
• Proficient at communicating status and progress on assignments. Raises issues and risks in a timely fashion and effectively contributes to mitigating activities.

Required Skills
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms in an enterprise environment
• Experience with designing and deploying AWS Services like Elastic Container services (ECS), Elastic Kubernetes service (EKS), Elastic Compute (EC2), Storages (S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier and AWS Storage Gateway), Networking and RDS
• Expert with provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software, pipeline-as-a-code, infrastructure-as-code and continuous delivery environment using automated deployment and testing framework
• Proficient with modern software development practices and architectures such as DevOps, microservices architecture, and APIs
• Expert with infrastructure as a code scripting (Terraform)
• Advanced knowledge of scripting/programming languages (Python & Node.js)
• Proficient with a variety of DevOps tools and CI/CD framework
• Experience developing/leading solutions in an iterative (Agile) approach
• Experience with Continuous Integration build tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, AWS Code pipeline)

Preferred Skills / Knowledge
• AWS associate-level certification (Solutions Architect and/or Developer)
• Serverless computing
• Previous AWS Cloud experience a plus
• Knowledge of container orchestration solutions
• Knowledge of virtualized infrastructure design and administration
• Knowledge and skills related to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
