Senior Backend Engineer(Java, C#, Go) (offline)

Duties and responsibilities

•Cooperate and participate in multiple projects with different stakeholders and business owners using high-quality oral and verbal English;
•Prepare high-quality well-structured and modular code using low-code/no-code solutions and Kotlin (backend & frontend);
•Focus on releasing features from start to end, including requirements gathering, scoping, testing and operations;
•Use your technical expertise to help shape solutions to complex problems;
•Continuously advocate for good practices across the company;
•Create valuable documentation that can help other team members in the future;

Working schedule:

•The majority of sync calls are from 4 pm to 8 pm Kyiv time;
•Required skills and experience
•At least 10 years in software development;
•5+ years in a Senior Software engineer role;
•Good with self-managing using Jira, scope discovery, prototyping and presenting solutions;
•A strong engineering approach to solving problems and discovering hidden connections in business requirements;
•Ability to effectively communicate challenges and issues both verbally and written;
•Solid experience in Java, C#, Go, or any other backend technology;
•Experience with REST, GraphQL;
•Familiar with module-based development;
•Experience writing tests/TDD;
•Strong English, both oral and written;
•Willingness to work on greenfield projects with the ability to take full ownership of your work, proactively ask questions about product ideas and positively challenge the team to ensure we’re always building the right solutions;

As a plus:

•Experience with Kotlin multiplatform (JVM + JS);
•Experience with no-code tools like SalesForce, Wix, Zappier, etc;
•Experience with PostgreSQL;
•Kubernetes (interacting with the running system);
•Working knowledge of Docker;
