Data Scientist (offline) $1800-2400

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of work experience in data analysis related field.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Python, MATLAB, pandas)
• Experience working with bash.
• Experience with SQL

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience participating in math/programming competitions.
• Master's/PhD degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience, including expertise with statistical data analysis.
• Applied experience with machine learning.
• Ability to be self directed.
• Experience translating business questions and using statistical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
