Tech Lead (offline) $6000-8000

WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced engineer and tech lead, who is looking to lead one of our cross-functional engineering teams in Kyiv.

You will collaborate closely with our Product Manager and Lead Designer to develop a successful product that is loved by its users. Alongside your engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering quality and scalable code.

You’ll get the support and guidance you need from our CTO as well as the freedom to make decisions and run your team independently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead a team of engineers
• Make large technical decisions
• Develop team members via mentoring and coaching
• Create a culture of ownership and learning
• Spread your influence through code reviews
• Drive engineering excellence via development best-practices
• Prioritize development initiatives and delegate work effectively
• Take part in developing complex features
• Help to recruit and onboard new members of your team

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Great level of English (written and verbal)
• 6+ years of experience with engineering
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership position
• Experience in delivering projects from discovery to production
• Strong understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem (specifically React and Node.js)
• Good technical leadership capabilities
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to balance ideal implementation with practical solutions considering time and resources
• Ability to empower others to be better engineers
• Team player and open-minded approach
