Senior Node Backend Engineer (offline) $5998-6500

PROJECT STACK and TEAM:
- Your main responsibility is to help us building and supporting systems such as Payment integrations (PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, etc.), SSO, Centralized Logging (as an event system and CDC broker);
- Projects stack: NodeJS, TypeScript, Redis, PostgreSQL, Vue, Web Components, Python API’s, AWS, Docker, Kafka;
- Daily-stand-ups at 10.30 am Dallas time;
- Lots of old code components are on Ruby on Rails. We do NOT use Ruby for new builds.

Interview process:
1) 30 mins Evolve HR/Tech screening;
2) Code exercise;
3) 60 mins Team interview (review a Code exercise + additional questions like adding an operator, or extend this or that here);
4) 20 mins Director of Engineering chat.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
7+ years of backend, full-stack, or full-cycle development;
3+ years working professionally with NodeJS, Express js;
2+ years working with other languages than JS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help build and support systems such as Payment integrations (PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, etc.), SSO, Centralized Logging, Kafka (as an event system and CDC broker);
- Work closely with a dynamic group of people in various time zones;
- Build, test, and maintain across the full cycle within a domain;
- Develop services and APIs used by distributed systems;
- Own development, quality, and maintenance of each service;
- Own security and monitoring on everything developed;
- Consider user experience in all aspects of development.
