Overview:
We are looking for an SRE/DevOps, who has experience in developing automated systems, is well versed in computer networking and VPN technologies, who has a good understanding of development, testing, continuous integration and delivery processes. The candidate will focus on creating robust comprehensive scaled cloud-based infrastructure and frameworks that are used by backend software developers, SREs and test engineers on a daily basis. We are looking for a well-rounded engineer with solid analytical skills, an enthusiasm for taking ownership, a strong commitment to service reliability and code quality. They will be part of an engineering group which is highly focused on providing the best reliable service for the company's key consumer and partnership businesses. As a result, they will have exposure to a broader set of problems, understand business requirements, which enables fast career growth.
Responsibilities:
-Be responsible for all aspects of the scaled service reliability and monitoring infrastructure including design, coding, testing, and debugging.
-Maintain a continuous performance evaluation of our VPN server infrastructure itself.
-Communicate effectively with peers to highlight and clarify design requirements.
Requirements:
-3+ years of experience in administration Linux.
-Experience with operating microservices using container technologies.
Strong monitoring, debugging, troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.
-Knowledge of IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, VPN, Proxy.
-Ability to build CI/CD environments using GIT and Jenkins.
-Adept in designing and writing high-quality code and maintaining good documentation for processes, tools, frameworks and software.
-Experience with cloud infrastructures like GCP, AWS or others would be a plus.
