Highly Experienced Python NLP Team Member (offline) $3000-7000

New York City company providing technology and data integration services to the world's leading hedge funds.

We are looking for an experienced python expert who knows machine learning.

Important, you must be used to "western style" work meaning that you keep a solid schedule, check-in daily, and work in a team setting, not just alone.

Need to know: Python, APIs, GIT, AWS, Flask.
You will need to have a spreadsheet program installed.
We prefer full-time engagements but are open to a minimum of 25 hours a week. A daily overlap of at least several working hours with NYC time zone is necessary. We are seeking candidates for long-term engagements.

Requirements:

• Python
• Web scraping
• Excel
• Excellent understanding of OOP principles and ability to write readable, well-structured code
• Knowledge of building and using RESTful APIs in Python
• GIT (real expertise, not cursory familiarity)
• SQL knowledge and relational database skills (i.e. PostgreSQL, MySQL, or cloud-based SQL)
• Knowledge of data manipulation in Python (pandas, numpy)
• PyCham
• Experience with cloud services from Amazon AWS (EB, S3, EC2), Google, or Microsoft (Azure).
