Computer Vision Engineer (offline)

About us:

YouScan.io is a social media listening solution, that gives businesses the ability to become better by listening to their customers. We’re growing really fast. Starting from the CIS region, we are now actively competing in Western markets. The entire engineering department works on collecting billions of social media posts daily, processing them with cutting-edge technologies (some of them are open-sourced), and providing meaningful insights to our customers.

We deal with:

— texts (sentiment analysis, text classification, text clusterization, trends detection, NER)

— images (logo detection, OCR, image classification, object detection)

— autoML (custom classifications of social media posts)

— web page extraction (automatically extract meaningful information from web pages)

What should you know:

— Python3 + classic ML/CV stack (numpy, pandas, sklearn, opencv)

— Deep Learning frameworks: PyTorch/TensorFlow (PyTorch is preferred)

— theoretical concepts of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

What should you have:

— 3+ years of DS/ML experience (at least 2 years of CV experience)

— practical experience in at least two of the following problems: image classification, object detection, segmentation, OCR, metrics learning

— experience in deploying ML models to production

— good English for reading SOTA articles and communicating with foreign colleagues

— goal-oriented mindset

Nice to have:

— model optimization experience (pruning, quantization, knowledge distillation)

— experience in pipeline optimization overall

— TensorRT

— Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Airflow

— experience in ML competitions for example Kaggle ones
